I have to admit, when my wife suggested we hire this company to re-landscape parts of our yard I thought to myself… “but I could do it myself”. Holy cow what a great decision to use this outfit. Jennifer not only came up with a design that was beautiful, personalized, balanced, and well thought out, BUT one that also took into account our pratical needs such as… working around a lot of septic areas, relocating a bush that had sentimental value, leaving open the logical walkways for access to the yard, desinging in easier lawn care… and more. During the install her crew were professional and courteous. AND CLEAN. OMG the job site was clean up at end of every day and equipmemt and materials left organized. THANK YOU. Jennifer was easy to get ahold of and follows through with promises. A key was letting Jennifer run with the ball without micro managing each decision.
This allowed her to shine in what she does creatively, to make suggestions for changes in real time (for problem areas or opportunities to make the an area better. ) Examples are… 1) suggesting to re-use some of my old pine bark mulch slated for disposal in a place that was originally out of scope 2) adding a palm in a strategic place and widening the surrounding rock bed in order to add balance. I could go on and on about my great expierence. I highly recommend the landscape investment and when doing so using Construction Landscape. Our expectations were exceeded and I feel yours will be too.

After two and a half years of Florida weather, poor soil and the existing, unimaginative community conforming landscape that came with the property, my front yard was in dire need of a make-over. After searching landscaping images on Google Maps, I recognized work that Construction Landscape had performed within my community. I reviewed Construction Landscape’s website which gave me a good idea of what I wanted and contacted Jennifer Bevins who came out for a consultation.
Jennifer is very pleasant, knowledgeable, creative and knows plant-wise what works (and doesn’t) in our Florida climate and soil. Jennifer listened to what I wanted as we did a walkthrough of the property. As I had to conform to community standards in regard to size and style, design was fairly straightforward. Using her laptop, Jennifer ran through all the various shrubs, plants, trees, edging and groundcover that could be used with emphasis on shapes, heights and colors. A coordination of elements. Once Jennifer had a good idea of what I wanted, would work within community standards and budget, she outlined design, plants, procedure and dates.
Jennifer takes pictures of the property and then creates an image of what the landscape will look like with a breakout of the new plants and indications of landscape dimensions on a site map – which is needed if one requires approval from their HOA. Jennifer then consults with water and power to come out and indicate (washable spray paint) where water/sewer/electric lines are prior to commencement of landscaping to avoid any accidents when excavating ground especially for deeper digs of incoming trees. I was particularly impressed with that attention to detail and service.
The landscaping itself was a two-day process, efficiently and neatly conducted with the addition of badly needed soil enrichment. I was very happy with the size of the new trees which replaced the existing, anemic ones. The landscape might look a bit sparse in the accompanying images, however, they will fill in during the upcoming year at which point they are shaped/pruned. I am very happy with the new relandscaped front yard – and so are my community members – more then a few who have complimented on how nice it all looks now. I would highly recommend Jennifer Bevins at Construction Landscape to anyone planning on designing or redesigning their property landscape.

I had seen some of Jennifer’s landscaping designs in her YouTube channel and really liked her choice of plants and how she arranges them in a layered approach with different colors and textures. We had her come to look at our tired and worn out front yard and a small side area that we needed a path in. She came up with a beautiful design within our budget. We scheduled a date and she stayed in contact with us when a few weeks of constant rain put them behind schedule. But they showed up when they said they would and in 3 days had the job done- and done beautifully! They even cut down an old pigmy palm that had died just a month before as a “while we are here”. They cleaned up after themselves each night and at the end you couldn’t even tell we had workers at the house but for the gorgeous landscaping now in front of our house!! Thank you Jennifer!

I’ve worked with many, many contractors throughout the years, and Jennifer and her team are absolutely the very best. Jennifer built us an absolutely stunning landscape to complement the house, and was so very patient and attentive to our wants and needs. We actually felt privileged to work with her. After the initial consultation where she took pictures and listened attentively, she came back with a rendering of the house superimposed with the new landscape. Our jaws literally dropped, and we couldn’t bear to change a thing. She’ll work with you to change whatever you want, however, including splitting things into phases, and she was onsite on all days of construction to guide and offer suggestions for tweaks and minor changes. Her husband, Chuck, and her own in-house crew are some of the most hardworking people I have seen and were careful and treated our property with such care. I honestly wouldn’t let anyone else touch the landscape. She walked through the yard with us upon completion and told us how to take care of each plant and shrub. We are so very pleased that we are already looking forward to working with her and the crew again on our next phase/adventure. (Some of you will relate, your garden is never done!). She is a genuinely sweet person and we consider her and the whole team very good friends.

We recently had the pleasure of having Jennifer Bevins and her team do a backyard landscaping project for our new home. We cannot recommend her company enough! My wife and I wanted to create a tropical paradise for our newly installed pool. After attempting to work with two landscape professionals, after attempting to convey to them our vision, and after countless hours with them drawing and redrawing the plans, we were still not satisfied. Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous. Jennifer Bevins and Construction Landscape exceeded our expectations in every way. The design process was so easy. Through basic dialogue, Jennifer captured our likes & dislikes as well as our goals and came back with a beautiful design concept that depicted exactly what our finished project would look like.
